Our bees have access to a wide variety of natural nectar sources. If you’ve ever kept a backyard garden, you know that each season can bring environmental conditions that will allow one type of plant to thrive while others do poorly. The color, thickness, and taste of honey depends on what nectar sources the bees leveraged during the honey production. Spring honey tends to be lighter in color and sweeter. Fall honey tends to be darker and more robust. Each season and each hive can be a little different! That’s why we love the wildflower honey.
All of our honey products are made with raw, unpasteurized honey. Raw honey has numerous health benefits – enzymes, pollen, and micronutrients – that are destroyed if pasteurized.
